Lamborghini [Xbox]

If you like racing, and you like online gaming, the folks at Rage are ready to make your day ! Announced late in 2002, Lamborghini for Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube will be released in 2003 and promises to take players around the world in a race to be the best (and richest) Lambo driver in the world. It will also be one of the first racing titles for next-gen consoles with online gameplay as an option, allowing you to truly take your game "worldwide" as you challenge other players over Xbox Live (PlayStation Online support has not been announced).

Rage has a three-year exclusive agreement with Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A ("Lamborghini"), the makers of the Lamborghini super car, to produce three racing titles for next-generation consoles. This means that Rage's Lamborghini racing titles will be the only titles that will allow you to race all 25 cars built by Lamborghini both past and present. Racers will be able to take the wheel of such classics as the Countach, Diablo and the 350 GT. Along with the great selection of cars, the designers and engineers at Lamborghini provided input into the gameplay and overall design of the game to ensure realism and true-to-design game mechanics.

Lamborghini puts you behind the wheel of some of the fastest cars made while racing against other Lambos on a world circuit. As part of a millionaire's club, you'll travel the world racing for glory, cash and the pink slips to rare and collectible Lamborghinis. Losing a race can mean more than losing face, you might just lose your only car, or worse, have to step down to one of the lesser Lambo's you've won earlier on. Of course, any Lambo is a good Lambo !

Lamborghini is expected to ship for Xbox and PS2 in Spring of 2003, and will see release on the GameCube in the Fall of 2003.
