Jumper on Blu-ray Disc to Include D-BOX Motion Code
Twentieth Century Fox has announced it will release Jumper on Blu-ray Disc with D-BOX Motion Code support. Fox has previously released Blu-ray movies such as Predator and Aliens vs. Predator with D-BOX support.
D-BOX Motion Code is special encoding included on select Blu-ray Discs that lets consumers literally feel the movement of certain scenes. Paramount to Re-Enter Blu-ray Scene on May 20
Paramount Home Entertainment is re-entering the Blu-ray Disc market, an announcement that's not exactly unexpected in light of HD-DVD's marketplace failure. What is surprising is just how soon Paramount will get back into the Blu-ray game: May 20.
On May 20, Paramount will release Face/Off, Next and Bee Movie on Blu-ray Disc, the latter of which was scheduled to ship as an HD-DVD in March. Those plans never materialized.

Blu-ray Dominance Will be Delayed, Say Analysts
It has been three months since HD-DVD lost its contest with Blu-ray, and the market has absorbed the consequent impacts while remaining open to changes. To clear inventory, HD-DVD and universal players are selling at deep discounts, HD-DVD and universal drives will no longer ship after 2008, and Best Buy has removed HD-DVDs from its shelves to make room for more standard Blu-ray movies and DVDs.
