Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising Map Pack Now Available on PS3, PC

Having spent some time exclusively available to Xbox 360 owners, the Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising DLC can now be downloaded on the PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. Black Ops II Uprising includes four new multiplayer maps, plus "Mob of the Dead," a new Zombies experience that takes players to the notorious prison island of Alcatraz. This new "Mob of the Dead" Zombies mode puts players in the shoes of four Prohibition-era mobsters: Billy Handsome, Al “The Weasel” Arlington, Salvatore “Sal” DeLuca and Michael “Finn” O’Leary. …

Nordic Games Gives THQ Titles a Home, Including Darksiders, Red Faction and Stuntman

If you were worried that THQ's dissolution would doom some of its most notable franchise to hit the dumpster, your new best friend may just be Nordic Games, which has picked up the rights to several THQ franchises in an auction of the now-defunct company's assets. THQ's auction process ended on April 15. Bethesda Unveils The Evil Within, a PS4 & ‘Xbox 720′ Survival-Horror Game

Bethesda Softworks today took the wraps off The Evil Within, a new survival-horror game from Shinji Mikami, but the biggest news may not be the studio's partnership with "the father of the survival horror genre," but the fact that The Evil Within is being developed for the PS4 and the next-generation Xbox, aka "Durango" or the "Xbox 720." Indie studios Animantz and Dysotek today announced the upcoming release of Deadly Walkers, a zombie-themed first-person shooter, for Mac and Windows. Deadly Walkers borrows its atmosphere from the feel of the old zombie movies, with players fighting against hordes of undead creatures that slowly surround them.
