Borderlands 2 Release Date Confirmed, Coming to Xbox 360, PS3, PC in September

The sequel to the outstanding RPG-ish shooter Borderlands is coming to a console or PC near you this fall, as 2K Games today confirmed that Borderlands 2 will ship for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 18. Gearbox Software is once again at the helm. 2K also announced a pre-order deal whereby gamers who order the game early from participating retailers will receive access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, including rewarding in-game items and bonuses. NeverDead Expansion Pack Volume 1 Hits Xbox 360, PS3

Konami has uploaded a NeverDead Expansion Pack -- creatively titled "Volume 1" -- so the NeverDead DLC is available for download via Xbox Live and PSN. The expansion pack includes all-new online experiences with a new playable character -- pop idol Nikki Summerfield -- three additional challenges within the expanded Asylum level, and two new online costumes for main character Bryce Boltzmann. Blink 182 Songs Now Available for Rocksmith

A new batch of Rocksmith DLC was made available today, with tracks from Blink 182 now available for download for Ubisoft's guitar-playing game. The songs included in this pack are "Dammit," "What’s My Age Again?" and "All the Small Things." Each song in the Blink 182 Rocksmith DLC is available for individual purchase on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. On PS3, each song will set you back $2.99 via the Playstation network. WWE WrestleFest Coming to XBLA, PSN; Releases Today for iPad, iPhone

THQ today released WWE WrestleFest for iPhone and iPad, a retro return to the wrestling arcade game from the 1990s, and announced that the game is also in development for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Android. Ubisoft Unveils Mad Riders, New Off-Road Racing Game for XBLA, PSN

Today, Ubisoft announced that Mad Riders, an adrenaline-fueled off-road arcade racing game, is coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this spring. A PC version will also be available.
