For the past six years, we’ve done our best to give you from-the-hip, honest and timely coverage of videogames and gaming systems. Last fall we expanded into Blu-ray Disc, HD-DVD and home electronics, and judging by your page views, that content has been a refreshing addition. Now we want to hear from you directly: what would you like DailyGame to write about in the coming weeks, months and years?
Basically, we’re pulling a Jerry MacGuire: help us help you. Since our inception we’ve tried to provide content that’s truly useful as you debate how to spend your hard-earned cash. However, we want to learn more about you so we can get a better idea of who you are and what you want to read about.
Our reader survey is going on through February 8, 2008, at 11:59pm PST, and we’d truly appreciate your feedback. We know online surveys are a pain, but this one’s brief, and we’re offering a great incentive for taking the time to fill it out: a $50 gift card to GameStop / EB Games. Not everyone will get a gift card (we’re not made of money, folks), but one lucky reader will, as our randomly selected “thank you” for filling out our survey. Doesn’t matter how old you are or where you live, we just want to hear from you.
Please, from the bottom of our collective heart, fill out our survey. We don’t plan to do anything with the info other than improve your overall DailyGame experience. And yes, for all you cynics out there, that also means helping us find ads that might be more appropriate for you all and get better click-through rates — again, we’re not made of money. But nothing nefarious will go down, and we really do just want to learn more about the types of things you’d like us to write about.
