Warsaw, Poland – Twinbottles, a small studio from Poland, has released Boogiemons 1.0 for iOS. Ever wondered what is inside of your iPhone? Boogiemons. Little creatures that live in your device and literally make it work. The latest system patch messed everything up however, so they might need a bit of help. It’s a fresh take on a classic plumber or pipemania style gameplay. Reinvented for touchscreen, equipped with high quality visuals and sound.
On each map player has to find the longest path connecting pairs of Boogiemons. There are bonuses for crossing special tiles and defeating various enemies that wander the map. Maps are hand crafted and tested, ensuring that there are multiple solutions to each one. Some can be really tricky. There is also an achievement for finding higher scored path than any of the developers did.
There are three worlds, each consisting of 15 maps and the Time Attack mode. Each world introduces new types of tiles and enemies like a Bug that wanders the map and rotates tiles as he crosses them, iron cast tiles that can’t be rotated or bloated Bug that explodes.
Time Attack mode allows players to fight against the clock – each found path rewards player with extra seconds. Of course longer paths give more points so it’s up to the player whenever he will gamble for more points or take the easier shorter route.
Controls have been redesigned for touchscreens, making old school plumber mechanic more casual and easier on the fingers. Player swipes over tiles and they arrange themselves to form a path. Of course there is also an option to tap tiles to rotate them in case someone prefers to solve his puzzles one tile at the time.

Twin Bottles is a small (we like to call it cozy) game development studio located in Poland. It was founded by two game developers, intent on making games they themselves would like to play. We are confident that game development process, although demanding and difficult, can be fun and fulfilling. We also consider game-making as a lifestyle, so we work part time as academic teachers trying to infect art and computer science students with gamedev bug. Our previous projects include Brunhilda And The Dark Crystal, an acclaimed casual hidden object game that was voted one of the best games of year 2010 on Gamezebo. Copyright (C) 2012 Twin Bottles.
