Calgary, Canada – One theme remains consistent while browsing educational games on the App Store. Most titles aimed for young audiences are simple in presentation and execution. Each level is designed to have easy to spot and subtle differences so as a child plays, the parents are also engaged in the game.

While the child is actively improving her analytical and observational skills playing, she is also presented with cultures, customs, architecture and scenery from around the world. With more than 120 colourful levels covering the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Oceania, the title seeks to have a balance between historic, cultural, scenic and informative presentations. Completing each level also delves deeper with introducing facts such as the location and the significance of the subject.
From a technical perspective, “Around the world in 5 differences” also rises above other similar titles. This is the only game where each level is created dynamically during game play. Playing the same level twice will present a different set of differences providing an immense level of replayability and challenge. The title also solves the issue of limited screen size on iOS devices by providing the user a way to pan around. Images are not shrunk to fit on the screen. Also, as a universal app, the game runs on all iOS devices: iPads, iPhones and iPods.
