Absolutist has just uploaded Time Gap, their new and free-to-play game to the App Store for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. Time Gap is an entertaining and educational game with a “Save the World” storyline that features black holes, time travel, parallel universes, and other sci-fi features. Players must explore a deserted Earth and determine what has happened to all the people and how to return them.
Time Gap contains a cast of five historical ghostly characters: Abraham Lincoln, Cleopatra, Alexander the Great, Albert Einstein, and Napoleon Bonaparte. Each legendary character provides advice as players navigate the various challenges within the storyline. They also share real facts and anecdotes from their lives to foster and promote an interest in history.

Players choose from 20 unique locations all over the world to search for almost 150 items before the timer runs out. Items are arranged differently each time and may include anomalies such as fog or missing letters. Players may choose to find the hidden objects in spite of the anomalies or use a special magical item to defeat them.
Players access the hidden object locations on the interactive world map. As the player achieves experience, additional locations are unlocked. The world map is also full of randomly appearing natural disasters, airplanes, hot air balloons, and even UFOs. Interacting with any of these gives valuable items including collection items, magic tools, power-ups and mystery boxes.
Time Gap contains five puzzle games with multiple levels of difficulty. Players can play Match 3, Collapse, Casino, and two Bubble Shooter-like games to banish natural disasters and win various items including premium virtual currency. Puzzles are at such a level that they can be played as independent games on their own.
