We’ve just entered July and (in America) blown up a bunch of fireworks. Sounds like the perfect setting for something “hot.” Like, say, the new Forza 5 Hot Wheels Car Pack, which is now available to all owners of the Xbox One racing game.
The Forza 5 Hot Wheels Car Pack features 10 vehicles, seven of which are all new to the Forza series. The “hottest” of the bunch are the Lamborghini Veneno, the Lotus Type 49 and Audi Auto Union Type D.
Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary car, the dramatic 2013 Lamborghini Veneno, is exclusive to Forza for the time being. By contrast, the Audi Union Type D is a race car from 1939, before the racing circuit was decimated by World War II. Somewhere in between is the 1952 Ferrari 375, the car that started Enzo Ferrari’s post-war racing dynasty.
Bringing it all back to the modern era, the Forza 5 Hot Wheels Car Pack also includes Audi’s latest offering, the 2015 Audi S3 Sedan.
The Forza 5 Hot Wheels Car Pack is available now for $9.99 in the Xbox Live Marketplace. It’s also included at no additional charge for Xbox One gamers who own the Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass. If you own the Pack, or individual cars in the pack, you can add them to your garage without needing to spend additional in-game credits or tokens.
You can see photos and read more about the vehicles in the Forza 5 Hot Wheels Car Pack DLC over at the Xbox Wire.
