My wife and I have been loving it on the 360 for a few months now. After you "beat" the game it's a great jump into experience to play online. I really don't like online games, but I like that one.
One of the cool things about l4d is how well strangers can work together - most of the time anyway.
There have been a couple of games where people would join, and then start team shooting. One guy blasted me a couple of times, then said - "oops sorry about that". Then a few seconds later blasted me again. When I started shooting back he stopped.
We played through the map, let the other team have their turn. And when we spawned back in the safe room to start the next level (it was mercy hospital level) - I grabbed the auto shotgun and went into counter-strike (and quakeworld deathmatch) mode. I started circle strafing around the guy blasting him in the head with the auto shotgun, and he was down within seconds. Since I was circle strafing him, he did not hit me a single time. I ducked behind a wall, reloaded, jumped back out, ran around his body blasting him the whole time. After doing this a couple of time he finally died. The team then vote kicked the poor guy. Next time, do not pick on someone that has been playing deathmatch for over 10 years.
Besides the occasional team killer wannabes, most of the time people work well together.
