So after yard work I went to go back to work on the lucasarts tour story...

But the computer isn't coming on, or to be more accurate, no video is.

Everything powers up, the computer beeps once, so it passes post, the power light blinks twice, and no video.

I've taken the vid card out and smelled it, nothing smells burnt, and it's fan is still spinning.   I've blown the whole thing out just for luck.  Nothing is working.  I'm slowly edging my way into a state of panic over here.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ok.   Embarrassed

After messing around with the monitor some more someone apparently put it into some kind of MODE where it displays "No signal" just to torment me.

Shut off the alarms.  Panic canceled.

Put the dogs and guns away.  pull back the fire hoses.  Someone kill the flashing lights ...

back to work.   Smiley
