London, United Kingdom – Oscar and His Curious Adventures is the first in a series of original animated storybooks for children aged 7 to 11, developed for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
The series aims to teach children a range of exciting scientific facts within an absorbing and entertaining storyline. Beautifully styled backgrounds combine 3D and 2D techniques building Oscar’s quirky world.
The app contains an original animated short film which is presented in chapters. The curious adventure unfolds and in this first episode Oscar has to learn some interesting facts about the moon. Multiple choice questions test what you’ve learnt along the journey and a booklet of additional moon facts help the viewer to learn even more.
A narration accompanies the short film which can be turned off should the user choose to read along.
