St. Petersburg, Russian Federation – Once upon a time in a small town art gallery an unthinkable crime took place: Botticelli’s famous painting “The Birth of Venus” was stolen. The young and charming Francesca di Porta, widely known as the best detective in all of Italy, was called in to search for the thief. Now she has to look for clues in the abandoned castle of a secret society, attempt to prove the professor’s innocence to the police, and set off to a mysterious island in pursuit of the criminals. Will the beautiful Francesca find the stolen painting? What will happen on this enchanting adventure? It is up to player to help the young inspector hunt down hidden clues and capture the culprits!
The game offers many picturesque Italian locations. While in towns, the player has to visit different locations, such as hotels, local shops, the pier, a police station and find hidden evidence to uncover facts. The set of mini-games that take place between levels come in all shapes and sizes, from puzzles to skill challenges. One will have to arrange chocolates so that they fit together in a box, snap photographs of fast-moving butterflies, spot the differences between images and much more. The tasks have just the right amount of challenge – not too easy and boring, not too hard and frustrating, just tricky enough to entertain!
