Prescott, Arizona – Novus: Tanaak’s Quest is a new KickStarter project started by Empoc Interactive. Novus is a 2D action, puzzle platformer. Novus is designed to give the player a retro look and feel like the games back in the 80′s. Everyone loves retro games, everyone loves platformers, everyone loves killing random never before seen bad guys. Everyone will love Novus: Tanaak’s Quest or else…
Tanaak is this super awesome dude that is on an almost extinct planet called Novus. Why is it almost extinct? Because of those damn little bio mechanical bugs that are trying to take over and turn Novus into their home world.
Tanaak being the cool guy he is, volunteered to go to Novus all alone and battle all of these little pests all to recover crystals for some core generator that his civilization needs in order to survive. What does all of this mean? The FATE of the entire planet, Novus pretty much rests with you, because lets face it, if there isn’t anyone telling Tanaak when to walk, jump, shoot or inverse gravity then he’s just going to stand around and do nothing.
Where can you get this awesome game? Well, you can’t get it yet. We are still actively working on it but are hoping to have a release on or around the end of July 2013. WAIT YOU WILL
Novus: Tanaak’s Quest will be released on Mac OSX first followed by iPhone, iPad and iPod. There are also planned releases for the XBox360 as well as the PC and Playstation Mobile. Don’t ask when these will be released because we will lie to you. So, this crappy excuse for a blog will serve as your 1 stop shop for updates and everything Novus.
