Video Games Quiz Takes Video Game Lovers on Nostalgic Journey

December 6, 2012 By Jonas Allen Leave a Comment

Cupertino, California – Video game lovers of all ages can now put their knowledge to the test and take a delightful nostalgic journey through video game history by downloading the fun, challenging and free new app, Video Games Quiz 1.

Created by the video game lovers at Otter Studios, Video Games Quiz challenges users to correctly guess video games featured in screenshots – from classic 8-bit hits of the 1970s, through to today’s ultra modern 3-D masterpieces.

Users who successfully finish the first level are rewarded with increasingly challenging levels, all the way up to level 12. In total, there are over 500 video games to guess, starting with the very first commercial video game of all, to popular new releases that are in stores and online now.

Plus, the app’s Game Center is integrated for global leaderboards, and users who need a bit of help on some of the tougher, more obscure titles can access in- game hints and clues.

“Video Games Quiz is much more than a test of video game knowledge,” commented Nick Sherman of Otter Studios. “It’s a nostalgic journey that takes users back to the days – and especially the long, late nights – when they first fell in love with video games. If they played it, loved it, and talked about it with their friends, chances are they’ll find it in the app!”

Video Games Quiz, the fun and challenging new app that lets video game lovers put their knowledge to the test as their journey through video game history, is available now on iTunes. The app is designed for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The first six levels are free, with the latter six levels available via an in-app purchase.
