Puzzles and logic games are blowing up the app world, whether it’s a numbers brainteaser, or games with symbols and images. But designers at Pio Games have distinguished themselves with the introduction of their latest mobile app game, Ainigma. With 100 levels of challenging puzzles, users won’t be putting Ainigma down any time soon.

Ainigma presents users with a visual puzzle and a challenge to put the figure back together. The pieces of the puzzle can be moved vertically or horizontally, but there’s a catch: users are given a set amount of movements at the beginning of each level. They will have to think carefully before moving pieces around or risk losing the level all together. As users advance to higher levels, the amount of strategic movements they’re allotted to complete the task changes.

“We wanted to challenge users by only giving them so many movements to solve the puzzle,” explained Sebastian. “They have to stop and think before making their moves. One wrong move and its game over. However, if users do need extra help, they are able to purchase more movements within the application.”

Ainigma features an abundant number of game levels, with five different figures to solve. So while users might think they’ve got one visual puzzle figured out, advancing to the next level means they’ll be starting back at square one. It’s a game of increasing challenges and testing of the users’ logic. Ainigma is compatible with Game Center on iOS, allowing the game to become a bit more social. Users can share their scores and even win prizes! So not only are users fine-tuning their critical thinking and logic, they’re rewarded for it too.

While there are endless offerings of puzzle games on the market, Pio Games’ Ainigma stands out. The basic premise of puzzle games is testing a user’s logic, but Ainigma takes it a step further by limiting the movements in strategy and solution. It’s not quick and easy, but in the end Ainigma is rewarding. The game is available in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
