LCD Ninja, a developer with perhaps the coolest name around, today released Ninja Boxing Calculator, a new retro-styled fighting game for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. Inspired by the original handheld Casio BG-15 Boxing Calculator from the 80’s, Ninja Boxing Calculator is a combination of a fully functional calculator and an action-packed fighting game.
Users switch between calculator and gaming modes by a simple slide of a virtual button. In gaming mode, players control their Ninja to attack, guard, and evade punches from their CPU opponent by selecting 3 different buttons on the calculator interface. Ninjas can jab, punch, dodge, and kick to take down each CPU opponent. Users have eight-60 second rounds to build up their attack power, knock out the CPU ninja and earn a high score. Animations are presented in an LCD format consistent with the original handheld game.

The fully-functioning virtual calculator displays the entire equation entered plus the solution. The Ninja Boxing Calculator also includes an equation interpreter that observes correct precedence in completing basic calculations. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements displayed in either the calculator or gaming modes.
