The vampire craze is going all political on us this fall, as 20th Century Fox has announced that Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter will ship on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD on October 23. The film, based on The New York Times best-selling novel, explores the secret life of Abraham Lincoln before he became President, and the untold story that shaped our nation.

Filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted) bring a fresh voice to the bloodthirsty lore of the vampire, imagining Lincoln as history’s greatest hunter of the undead. Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter stars Benjamin Walker (Flags of Our Fathers), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger), Anthony Mackie (The Adjustment Bureau), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) and Rufus Sewell (The Tourist). The Blu-ray 3D and Blu-ray version are loaded with bonus content, including a never-before-scene animated graphic novel prequel about the origins of vampires in the U.S.A.
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter will appear in a three-disc Blu-ray 3D set and a two-Disc Blu-ray set. Their special features will include:
