HBO has announced it will ship the True Blood The Complete Series Blu-ray set on November 11, the same day the True Blood Season Seven Blu-ray collection will hit. The series collection will also be available for the first time on Digital HD the same day.

True Blood has been a summer-TV staple since its debut on HBO in 2008. The show recently wrapped its seventh and final season.

On September 22 fans who missed out on True Blood Season 7 will have their first opportunity to find out what happens to Sookie, Bill, Eric and all of the citizens of Bon Temps when True Blood: The Complete Seventh Season makes its Digital HD debut.

Over the course of seven seasons, the sexy, scary, wildly entertaining hit HBO® series True Blood has kept fans on the edge of their seats with twists, turns and romantic entanglements for Sookie Stackhouse and her group of supernatural friends and foes.

The True Blood The Complete Series Blu-ray set will retail for $299.99, with the DVD version carrying a $249.99 price tag.

The Complete Series set will include all 80 episodes spread across 33 discs, plus all of the bonus content from the individual season releases. That content includes behind-the-scenes featurettes, a Snoop Dogg music video, Tru Blood beverage ads and 40 audio commentaries.

The True Blood the Complete Series Blu-ray set also includes a Digital HD copy of all 80 episodes. If you’re interested, Amazon still has pre-orders left.

If the Complete Series set is beyond your means, or if you already own the first six seasons, here’s a roundup of the bonus features for True Blood: The Complete Seventh Season. The True Blood Season 7 Blu-ray set costs $79.98 and includes a Digital Copy of each episode. The DVD version costs $59.99. Both can be found on Amazon.

Two bonus features are exclusive to the Blu-ray edition, which also includes all the DVD-version extras. The first is True Death: The Final Days on Set. This feature lets viewers see the final days of True Blood through the eyes of their favorite cast members, who document their experiences on their last times on set. The second is True Blood Lines, which uncovers various “secrets” from relationships past and present.

The DVD version has three bonus features: “Audio Commentaries,” “Previews & Recaps” and True Blood: A Farewell to Bon Temps. The latter feature is a behind-the-scenes special of the series as it entered its seventh and final season.
