Electronic Arts is going to be releasing a special collector’s edition of Madden NFL 2005 later this year alongside the regular Madden NFL 2005 in North America. The collector's edition will only be available for PS2.
So what exactly will make the "collector's edition" so collectible? A lot, actually. Madden NFL 2005 Collector’s Edition will include bonus content such as playable classic versions of Madden from the 16-bit era, two versions from the PlayStation era, a trivia challenge with more than 1000 questions, historical playoff teams from the past 15 years with their authentic uniforms, a video feature called "The Music of Madden" and an inside "making of" feature, among other goodies.
Online play (yes, for Xbox Live, too) will be compatible with the regular version of Madden NFL 2005.
So what's all this cost? $59.95, just slightly higher than the retail version.
