Since our fantastic Light-Side (then Dark-Side) journey ended last year in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (read DailyGame’s review), we’ve been eagerly awaiting our next opportunity to customize our light saber and role-play our way in a galaxy far, far away.
That next opportunity will come in February 2005, when KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords ships for Xbox and Windows. Of course, that release date means we’ll have a double-dose of role-playing goodness next spring, if you consider that KOTOR 2 and Jade Empire will release within a month or so of one another. So much for sleep.
We’ve already espoused our E3 love for Jade Empire, and we’ll continue to do so in the months ahead, but it’s time to look at its kin, KOTOR 2. We played the game at E3, and although you can’t judge an RPG as deep as this one from 15 minutes of play, it was quite obvious that KOTOR 2 is set to pick up where its Game of the Year predecessor left off. In other words: prepare for an awesome ride.
