SpongeBob Squarepants Headed for Xbox Live Arcade
12/21/07
SpongeBob SquarePants is coming to Xbox Live arcade, and he's doing it just in time for Christmas. Oh wait, no he's not. His Xbox Live Arcade-exclusive game SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam! will hit the online service on December 26. Well, at least SpongeBob was close....
THQ's SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam! is a side-scrolling game starring SpongeBob himself, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks and Plankton. In the game, King Neptune has misplaced an entire load of laundry after a massive underwater storm current, and it's up to the Xbox Live Arcade-playing SpongeBob fans to collect the King's laundry by searching the kitchens of the Krusty Krab, the cargo hold of the Flying Dutchman's ship and the Treasure Room of Atlantis.
The game includes four modes: Quest Mode, Time Attack Mode and two multiplayer modes for up to four players total (Slam Mode and Tag Mode).
SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam! will be available in North America for 800 Microsoft Points.
