Mafia 2 Announced for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC

2K Games today revealed the systems on which Mafia II will release. The gangster game will ship on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows-based PCs simultaneously.

Unfortunately, 2K Games didn't reveal the ship date.

Mafia II takes place in the dark and unforgiving world of the Mob. Expanding upon the original game, Mafia 2 will look at mob life in the 1950s with "a mature and compelling narrative."

Mafia 2 is being developed by 2K Czech, which worked on the original Mafia and the Hidden & Dangerous series.
