Anime Fighter Arcana Heart Ships for PS2

The 2D anime-style fighter Arcana Heart hit stores today for the PlayStation 2.

Atlus' PS2 game carries a retail price of $29.99 and includes the original Arcana Heart as well asthe remixed Arcana Heart FULL. All told, the PS2 game offers four different modes: Arcade, Story, Versus and Training. There's also a gallery "mode" filled with unlockable extras.

Arcana Heart features an all-female cast of characters (11 total) whose skills players can customize with new attack and defense skills by selecting from 11 different Arcana to pair with their fighter.

The game supports traditional fighter gameplay on the ground, but also vertical action as players can take their fighting skyward above the game's large battle maps. While airborne, players can rain down punishment on their opponent with air dashes and homing techniques to create devastating aerial combos.
