Summer Athletics, the name of the new game, includes more than 25 sporting events such as sprinting, archery, javelin, hammer throw and swimming. The PS2 version is only $14.99, while the Wii version is $29.99. Those prices mean it's not like vicarious athletes need to pony up too much to play the game.
In addition to the 25+ events, Summer Athletics includes a character editor, career mode, 3D animations and "realistic" environments. And yes, the Wii version supports Wii Remote controls. Did you really need to ask?
