"The demo, exclusively available for Xbox 360, is free and offered for download on Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360," said Ubisoft's statement today. So, we're guessing it's "free" and "only on Xbox 360," right? No PS3 version appears to be in the works, based on today's press release.
[Update]: Ubisoft has since said that a PS3 demo is in the works, although the company is still ironing out the release-date details.
The Tom Clancy's EndWar demo features both single-player and multiplayer gameplay. The single-player portion of the demo is part of the "Prelude to War" campaign and acts like a tutorial. The multiplayer portion contains one mode, Conquest, and one map, La Mancha (Spain). No word on whether "The Man of La Mancha" will appear as a playable character.
The multiplayer EndWar demo contains one-versus-one functionality and includes full matchmaking capabilities.
