This year's installment brings back popular features such as Road to The Show and Franchise Mode, and also introduces Online Season Leagues for fully functional drafts and a flex calendar to play games ahead in the schedule.

Gamers can also use music from their own hard drive as walk-up music for any player, and it also lets players create their own crowd chants like "A-fraud sucks!" or one-off statements from boisterous fans like "Pedroia, why don't you stand up?!"
