Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Confirmed, Demo Only on PS3

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was officially announced today, along with a little bit of PS3 lovin' that will get fanboys all manner of upset: the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 demo will be exclusive to PS3.

Oh, and the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 demo will be on the PlayStation Network this Thursday, April 30.

The free MVC2 demo will include triple tag team action, two-player local matches, six available characters (Ryu, Chun-Li, Strider, Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine), seven selectable environments and two graphic filter options for character sprites.

The biggest changes for the full game will be that it's based on the Dreamcast code base, there is online support (basically the same Net code used in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, and it has full 1080p HD upscaling.
