Burnout Paradise Big Surf Island is racing onto the PS3 and Xbox 360 today, the latest expansion pack to the outstanding racing game from EA and Criterion. Unlike many previous updates and additions to Burnout Paradise, Big Surf Island carries a price tag. It's available now for download via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace for $12.99 (1000 Microsoft Points).

For those of you taking notes at home, that's almost the price of the full retail game (now only $19.99). But, considering the low price of the core game, you can still get the game and expansion for less than most retail racing games on the market.

Burnout Paradise Big Surf Island includes challenges and events for groups of friends to play online, the biggest and wildest jumps yet, and a set of nine new vehicles. It also features an Island-specific driver's license for single-player progression.
