Ghostbusters: The Video Game is the true third entry in the Ghostbusters movie series, a game penned by the same authors (Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis) and that takes place two years after the second film. So, any true Ghostbusters fans will need to play this new game from Atari if they want to see how the series concludes. And we just so happen to be giving Xbox 360 owners that opportunity right here.

In Ghostbusters: The Video Game, players assume the role of a trainee who's signed-up with the original cast to bust ghosts in the latest New York City outbreak. Gamers will battle Stay Puft, Slimer and a host of terrifying new ghosts using the classic proton pack as well as a slew of experimental new equipment. Once the city is safe, players can then take their bustin' online with up to three friends to play the game cooperatively.
