Fat Princess Release Date for PS3: July 30

Fat Princess, a PS3 / PSN game that plays out like a hilarious version of capture the flag, is going to be released a bit sooner than expected: July 30. The game will carry a PSN price of $14.99.

Fat Princess will be released simultaneously worldwide in North America, Europe and Asia. A Japanese-specific release is planned, but Sony has not yet officially announced release-date details.

In Fat Princess, two teams of players essentially go after one another capture-the-flag style, but a princess acts as the flag. The hilarious catch: each team can feed its princess to fatten her up, thus making it harder for the opposing team to get her out of the base and making transportation of the fattie a little harder than normal.
