GTA IV DLC Coming to the PS3

Did you purchase GTA IV on the PS3 because you felt that it wouldn't feel right playing a GTA game on a Microsoft console, even though you knew you wouldn't get the DLC? Well, if you have waited this long, maybe you didn't mind not having the DLC. If you did want it, we have good news as Sony has announced that the GTA IV DLC is coming to the PS3.

Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc. (SCEA) announced today that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City will release for PlayStation®3 (PS3™) computer entertainment system on March 30, 2010. Created by RockStar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTWO), PS3 fans will have the opportunity for the first time to experience the last two exciting chapters of the Grand Theft Auto IV saga together on one standalone Blu-ray™ disc, or as individual episodes available for download on PlayStation®Network.

Good news for those interested in the DLC on the PS3, assuming they haven't traded their copy already. At least you don't need the original game to play the new content.
