L.A. Noire ships this week for Xbox 360 and PS3 after what’s seemed like an eternity in development. The open-world detective game has blockbuster written all over it, with Rockstar Games at the helm and none other than the Grand Theft Auto franchise as its spiritual big brother. But will L.A. Noire actually live up to the hype?
We won’t know the answer to that question until we get our hands on the game later this week, but Rockstar sent along the video trailer below to help quell some of those fears and address some of the questions. This official launch trailer for L.A. Noire reveals evidence uncovered on the Vice desk and hints of a trail of corruption leading from drug dealers on the streets of Los Angeles to the highest offices of the LAPD. Check it out:
