Just a few days before May 4 — the unofficial day for all things Star Wars — Zen Studios will release Star Wars Pinball Heroes Within for all major platforms except Xbox One. On April 29, just five days before “May the Fourth,” Star Wars Pinball Heroes Within will hit PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS Vita, as well as PC and Mac.
That’s all well and good, but here’s the really cool news. R2-D2 and C-3PO will finally be getting their own pinball table!
In the Star Wars Pinball Heroes Within Droids table, R2-D2 and C-3PO will face many familiar pitfalls. Familiar for droids, that is. Things like conveyor belts, welding torches, pressing machinery, robotic arms and lava pits. No Sarlac Pit? Nope — that was more of a threat to Han and Boba Fett, not our metallic little buddies.
One cool part of the Star Wars Pinball Heroes Within droids table is that the main goal is escaping from the Jawa Sandcrawler! Beware of Nebit, as he tries to thwart the escape and keep our Droids captive. Here’s the official trailer:
Star Wars Pinball Heroes Within will be available for download on all the platforms mentioned above beginning April 29.
