PopCap Games and Electronic Arts are a dangerous but great combination. Creativity and distribution are like chocolate and peanut butter, and the companies’ latest entry lives up to that analogy. Peggle 2 Xbox 360 is now available as a digital download via the Xbox Live Marketplace.
One of the best pick-up-and-play downloadable titles of the year, the Peggle 2 Xbox 360 version marks the first chance owners of Microsoft’s “last-gen” console can play it. Peggle 2 had previously been available for Xbox One. A Peggle 2 PS4 version hasn’t yet been spotted.
Peggle 2 is a whimsical puzzle game featuring the peg-popping greatness of the original with tons of new features and content. And, since Peggle 2 Xbox 360 has appeared after its Xbox One kin, this latest version includes all the updates that’ve released so far.
Peggle 2 offers 60 levels, 60 trials, 180 objectives, Peg Party multiplayer action, and four all-new Peggle Masters and power-ups. The price for all that content is $11.99.
Peggle 2 Xbox 360 version also includes the brand-new multiplayer Duel Mode and colorblind option.
Just as in the classic original, Peggle 2 combines elements of pinball, pachinko and billiards and adds liberal doses of quirky, fun, excitement and challenge – not to mention rainbows and a ninth of Beethoven.
