The Chargers enter today’s Chiefs game with the third-ranked overall defense, allowing 15.2 points per game, 209 yards passing and 99 rushing yards.
Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles will see if he can change the latter stat. Charles hasn’t rushed for more than 95 yards in his two games since returning to the lineup. Yet when the Chiefs faced the Chargers last November, Charles had 115 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries. The Chiefs have a two-pronged backfield with Charles and Knile Davis, who’s averaging 4.5 yards per carry.
