Disney Epic Mickey was years in the making by famed game developer Warren Spector, not to mention years on the “must-own” list of thousands of gamers and Disney fans. It’s been a long time since Mickey Mouse had a starring role in a good video game, and knowing that Spector (the former lead of the Deus Ex franchise) was at the helm restored people’s hope that Disney Epic Mickey
As you gathered in our Disney Epic Mickey review, Spector and Co. did an admirable job achieving this goal, although there were a few hiccups along the way. Part platformer, part painting game and all reintroduction to classic characters, Disney Epic Mickey delivers an entertaining experience for hardcore Disney fans, a metric ton of unlockables (including collectible pins!) and two classic cartoons (the 1933 short “The Mad Doctor” and Oswald’s starring role in “Oh What a Knight”). In other words, there’s a lot here to enjoy. And we thought you’d want to enjoy it all for free — presuming you win this contest for one brand-new retail copy of the Nintendo Wii game.
