Batman Arkham City Lockdown Now on Android (Google Play)

June 26, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

Android GuyBatman made quite a splash during E3, with current-gen and next-gen caped crusaders saving the day all over the LA Convention Center. Today it’s Bruce Wayne’s Android alter ego that gets the attention. Batman Arkham City Lockdown is now available for Android tablets via Google Play. Batman Arkham City Lockdown is one of Warner Bros. Interactive’s biggest mobile games, and it joins Scribblenauts Remix today as being available for on Google Play for Android tablets.

In Batman Arkham City Lockdown, players assume the role of Batman to defeat an army of henchmen and some of his most iconic foes. Players will scour rooftops and the seedy underbelly of Gotham City through a series of one-on-one battles with The Joker, Two-Face, Deathstroke and more.

Scribblenauts Remix lets players use their imagination to write any word, modify it with adjectives and bring that object to life to solve challenging puzzles from Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts’ most popular levels.

Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, available for $5.99, is available now on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore for Android. Scribblenauts Remix, available now for $0.99, can also be found in both Android stores.

The console version of Batman Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.

Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, Batman: Arkham City introduced a new story, a new cast of classic characters and murderous villains, and a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features for players to explore as the Dark Knight. The game most recently appeared on the Wii U via an Armored Edition, which featured full support for the Wii U GamePad. The mobile Batman Arkham City Lockdown is obviously quite different, but set in the same universe.
