Instead of a health bar, players are presented with a “Hunger Meter” in Guzu which starts dwindling the second the action starts, signaling that Guzu is growing and more hungry. Every flying bug that Guzu eats replenishes his Hunger Meter a little bit, and it’s up to the player to catch enough bugs to keep Guzu fed and themselves in the game. Beware though, everything that’s smaller than Guzu is a snack, anything that’s bigger than him is a predator!
To keep things fresh the game includes a wide array of power-ups, and bonuses for players to take advantage of including defensive Shields, Force Fields that let players take the offensive against other predators, an awesome Jaws power-up that rushes Guzu to the top of the food chain, and many others! Each of Guzu’s power-ups and bonus packs give players unique ten-second boosts before fizzling out, which is more than enough time to chomp down on some extra filling predators-turned-prey!
