Los Angeles, California – Dream Boy Studios today is proud to announce the release of PipeWords 2.0, an update to their fabulous and charmingly frantic word-based puzzle game for iOS. PipeWords is all about words and effective plumbing. The update includes a lite version, twenty new levels, guaranteed to challenge even the bestest PipeWord players ever, post their scores and “Word of the Levels” to their friends in social media, and bacon. Ok, well, not bacon, but you can at least spell the word “bacon” in the game.
PipeWords is our offering to both the word and active-puzzle genres and hopes to fuse into one, the “wordy-puzzle”; in this game, the player must simultaneously juggle the logical planning of paths of water and the words one must spell to make it happen. The player must build a network of “pipewords”, navigating a water flow from one point to another without allowing it to dead end.
These “pipewords” are spelt via a rack of letters powered the player’s vocabulary; as simple as “YUM” or as insane as “YEASTINESS”. Skilled players will go for the latter, as well as try to track down all the treasure (including hidden ones) in each level. Wrinkles include mazes, locked doors, ticking timebombs, and more. PipeWords is playable both the young, the casual, and the hardcore puzzle and/or word game fan. The game currently features 60 levels with more to be added soon!
