Flow Studio’s Leap Motion Enabled Game Sortee Release Today

July 22, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

Prague, Czech Republic – Independent developer Flow Studio is announcing Leap Motion controlled game Sortee. PC and Mac versions are on sale in the Airspace store today to coincide with the new motion gesture controller’s ship date. Sortee – a puzzle game that will change how you think about junk.

Sortee is a fast-paced puzzle game that tests your perception of everyday objects. What color is an apple: red or green? How many legs does a seahorse have? Is an igloo cold, or round, or somebody’s home – or all three? Players must sort everyday objects based on the criteria that define them, such as an item’s color, the material it’s made from, or how it’s used.

Although Sortee was designed with adult players in mind, its initial iOS release has also shown it to be a powerful educational tool for kids. “Sortee is the most well received edu-game we’ve seen so far,” says Mathieu Marunczyn, IT Leader and eLearning teacher at Jackson School, Victoria, Australia. “Although the game can be difficult even for sharp adult brains, the kids mode allowed us to use the game for learning purposes and still have lots of fun.”

Pricing and Availability:
Priced at $2.99 (USD), Sortee is available for both PC and Mac in English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese language. Minimum requirements are Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.6, i3 2GHz, a graphics card with DirectX 9 or higher, 2GB of RAM, and 350MB HDD space.
