Aarhus C, Denmark – Independent developer, Nils Koster today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Kid vs Dog 1.0.1, his new fast paced action game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Kid vs Dog is an endless runner combined shooter featuring the classic struggle between kid and dog.
You play as the paperboy who’s running from a huge dog in idyllic suburban surroundings. To keep the dog at bay you must fire projectiles popping out of your cart. A meter at the top of the screen tells you how hard you hit the dog and hitting the dog hard will add to your turbo boost. The turbo adds incredible speed and can save you in the knick of time before the dog plant his teeth in your backside.
Every round you get to relax with some easy bird picking. Picking a bird adds to you precious turbo, giving you an advantage for the next round, but the dog will also run faster so you will need it. Avoid feeding the dog biscuits as it will make it run faster towards you.
“Kid vs Dog is my first game and a homemade production made on a computer in the corner of my apartment.” said indie developer, Nils Koster. “The inspiration for this game was from my younger years working as a paperboy in the local area and often facing the perils of loose dogs sitting on porches.”
