Cambridge, Canada – Mukul and Bhavnita Verma, the creative geniuses behind MoKool Apps, has announced the upcoming release of their very first game, Go Bananas. The app is ideal for whiling away the hours on business commutes and features an enterprising monkey armed with a slingshot.
“This game is for people who are looking to kill a few minutes waiting for someone or at the movies, being entertained by playing a fun and addictive game,” said Mukul.
“It’s a very entertaining and addictive game that keeps you coming back trying to beat your highest score,” added Bhavnita.
The star of Go Bananas is an endearing monkey equipped with his trusty slingshot and a supply of rocks. Players try to knock down bananas and collect as many as they can to earn points, while trying to avoid the exploding coconuts that are hidden within banana bunches. The game is over if the monkey inadvertently sets off a coconut.
The game features ways to rack up extra lives, along with cool and interesting objects that can be thrown to knock down bananas should the monkey exhaust his supply of rocks. The game is available exclusively for the iPhone and iPad and can be downloaded at the iTunes store.
The Vermas are relative newcomers to the field of app development, but they’re inspired. They’re already gaining a name for themselves and garnering a devoted following. Mukul noted that he’s always been an enthusiast of mobile technology and entering the world of apps was an outgrowth of the first business he launched to pay off his student loans.
With Bhavnita’s design skills and his marketing expertise, it would appear to be a match made in heaven for the app world, but Mukul noted that the creation of Go Bananas was the result of an entirely different application the two were developing. The couple recognized a good idea when it presented itself and Go Bananas was born.
Go Bananas is an app that will have gamers playing anytime they have a few spare moments. The app is a return to a simpler time when games were played purely for the entertainment factor and when the only person to beat was oneself.
