Plush – The Puzzle Game Sure To Be A Sleeper Hit On OS X

July 3, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

West Jordan, Utah – Independent developer Red Head Games today is pleased to announce the availability of its first game, Plush, on Mac OS X. Plush combines stuffed animal simulation with the imagination of a little girl to provide a unique puzzle experience. To successfully complete each level, the player must arrange the stuffed animals in such a way as to make them all “happy” before bedtime. Each stuffed animal has it’s own preferences (and physics), so this is easier said than done.

Plush provides a cozy atmosphere and a soothing soundtrack while still providing interesting (and often quite challenging) puzzles to solve. Rather than assault the senses in a desperate attempt to keep the player’s interest, Plush aims to act as a digital glass of warm milk, helping the player (whether an adult or child) wind down before their own bed time. Even the level timer is hidden by default, though quickly available for those who take their puzzle games seriously.

Features:
* 40 puzzle levels and 3 difficulty options
* Sandbox mode (Play Room)
* Unlockable Sound Board
* Colorblind Mode

Mac OS X Minimum Requirements:
* Mac OS X Version 10.6.6 or higher
* Intel Processor
* 38.9 MB Hard Drive space

Pricing and Availability:
Plush 1.0.6 is $4.99 USD (or equivalent) for Mac OS X, available on the Mac App Stores worldwide and on GamersGate.

Located in West Jordan, Utah, Red Head Games was founded in 2013 by Scott Hanks, who started his experience in the games industry during his teenage years as a beta tester for Sculptured Software (later acquired by Acclaim Entertainment). Seeing what it was like to actually work in the games industry dampened his enthusiasm to make games somewhat. The desire was further suppressed after spending some time in college learning C programming. After many years of dabbling in various disciplines (from writing to talk radio to plumbing), Scott returned to his computer nerd roots. While immersing himself in this brave new world of programming, Red Head Games was created in order to distribute “Plush”, our first game. Copyright (C) 2013 Red Head Games LLC / All Rights Reserved.
