Cologne, Germany – mobivention releases one of the most popular board games: Ludo for iPhone, iPod and iPad. The app will be fun for the whole family and comes with numerous features such different number of players, variable rules of play, sound effects and animations. The app is available as a free version or as a full version for $ 2.39 and can be downloaded in the Apple AppStore.
At the start of the game, the players’ four pieces are placed in the start area of their colour. Players have to throw a die to move their pieces. A player must first throw a six to be able to move a piece onto the starting square. In each subsequent turn the player moves a piece forward 1 to 6 squares as indicated by the die. Be aware of this: If a players’ piece lands on a square containing an opponents’ piece, this piece is captured and has to return to the starting area.
