Quake Escape releases How to Survive the Mayan Calendar Apocalypse

March 1, 2012 by Sara Leave a Comment

Clifton, New Jersey – Quake Escape, a new mobile app game for iTunes has released infographic parodying the Mayan calendar prophecy that the world will end after 2012. The infographic details various ways to survive the natural disasters that Mayan conspiracy theorists expect to plague the earth this year.

“The infographic is funny because it’s so topical right now,” said Peter Garcia Quake Escape President. “There’s a heightened awareness about the end of the world because of the Mayan Calendar, and we want people to be prepared for the worst in a very candid manner.”

An example of their helpful but humorous tips for surviving an earth quake include: avoiding cities, which are likely to crumble at any moment. The graphic suggests everyone live, instead, in a moon house.

Much like the game, Quake Escape’s infographic capitalizes on the Mayan Calendar interest that has taken the world by storm. The idea also goes hand-in-hand with the popularity of zombie apocalypse survival guides.

The Quake Escape infographic has three main areas of advice: How to Survive an Earth Quake, How to Survive a Flood, and The Absolutely necessary Survival Kit. Each section details unorthodox solutions to the end of days natural disasters. The cartoonish characters and sleek graphics make this infographic interesting and easy to read. For more information on Quake Escape, visit their website, or download their app for free in the iTunes App store.
