The stories are presented in a classic typeface on slightly aged paper that gives the App a traditional look. But you’ll discover that this isn’t a conventional book when you swipe to pages with macabre illustrations that hook you, animations that make the horror alive and the original soundtrack brings you closer to the stories. The application, that accumulates more than 500.000 downloads, is available in Spanish, English and French and consists of two volumes. The awaited second volume is free for a limited time and includes Hop-Frog, The Black Cat and The Raven stories. The first volume includes some of the best known works such as The Oval Portrait, The Masque of the Red Death, The Tell-Tale Heart and Annabel Lee. Available for iPhone, iPod and iPad (requires iOS 5.1 or later), the App takes full advantage of the devices’ capabilities creating a stunning audiovisual experience.
