Houston, Texas – In a first for iOS publishers, Artchiteq New Media Entertainment LLC, developer and publisher of interactive mobile games, today announced the release of an HTML5 demo version of its upcoming re-release of Agent 351: Logic Bomb for iPhone and iPod touch. The game, a combination of storytelling, spy movies, and trivia was released last year to glowing fan reviews and a #12 debut in the iTunes Trivia category, beating out games such as You Don’t Know Jack & Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, is being re-released for it’s one year anniversary.
However, as many publishers are competing for eyes and sales from fans, ANME.TV decided to go a step further in getting users to get interested in the game before its upcoming anniversary release. While most publishers submit their apps to review sites or create a lite version of their apps in the hopes that users will buy their game, Agent 351: Logic Bomb will have a demo version of the app allowing users to play level one of the game directly in the browser of their mobile or desktop device.
“As the one year anniversary of Agent 351 was coming up, I wanted to reissue the game and get new fans on board, ” states ANME.TV founder RH Blanchfield. “I decided that instead of spending money on advertising, the best solution would be for users to try out their game on their device without going through iTunes.”
To play the game, users simply have to go to the ANME.TV website and sign up to play the game. Signing up to try the demo version of the game automatically enters users for a launch day giveaway including an iPhone 4s and ANME.TV T-Shirt in addition to receiving exclusive Agent 351 web comics and quizzes.
“It’s important that ANME as a company creates fantastic games centered around memorable characters that will reach a broad audience,” states Artchiteq NME founder RH Blanchfield. “With the web based version of Agent 351: Logic Bomb, we wanted to create a game that anyone could tryout and have fun without having to download anything to their device.”
