Introducing Split for iOS: A physics-based puzzle game built for iOS 7

September 23, 2013 by Sara Leave a Comment

Atlanta, Georgia – StackTracks, LLC today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Split, their latest gaming title for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Flick, drag, and roll numbered orbs into two tanks until they’re balanced. When things get tricky and the numbers don’t match up, you can split orbs in two and add them to separate tanks. Don’t get too comfortable with splitting, though. Each level has a set number of splits that you’re allowed to use.

The game starts with simple orbs that contain small numbers. As you progress through the levels, both the number of orbs and their values increase. Eventually you encounter modifier orbs, which perform actions such as multiplication on an entire tank. Things can get really tricky when negative and locked orbs start to show up – locked orbs cannot be split in two, which can make a seemingly simple level very complicated.

Split is a fun and addicting puzzle game, but it also challenges your brain and can be great math tool for children. Download it for free today.
