It may not be a free PS Plus game for August, but PS4 owners who have Zen Pinball 2 just got a great pre-func bonus from Zen Studios. A new Zen Pinball 2 PS4 update allows anyone who bought tables on the PS3 version to export them from the “last-gen” system and import them for free to the PlayStation 4.
The Zen Pinball 2 PS4 update technically went live July 15. For those PS4 owners who haven’t logged into the game since then, this news should be greeted like Christmas in July.
All told, the following tables and table packs are now available for download on PS4:
- Marvel Pinball Vengeance and Virtue –Ghost Rider, X-Men, Thor, Moon Knight ($9.99/€9,99/£7.99)
- Classic Pack –Tesla, V12, Shaman, El Dorado ($9.99/€9,99/£7.99)
- Fantastic Four ($2.99/€2,99/£2.49)
- Captain America ($2.99/€2,99/£2.49)
- Marvel Civil War ($2.99/€2,99/£2.49)
- Super Street Fighter II Tribute ($2.99/€2,99/£2.49)
- Mars ($2.49/€2,49/£2.15)
- Excalibur ($2.49/€2,49/£2.15)
But again, players who previously downloaded any of the above tables on either the PlayStation 3 or PS Vita can import them for free onto the PS4 version of Zen Pinball 2 free of charge.
Needless to say, before you take advantage of this Zen Pinball 2 PS4 update, it’s probably a good idea to purchase the table(s) you want on either the PS3 or PS Vita before using the Import Table function from within the PlayStation 4 version of Zen Pinball 2. That way you can use the cross-platform purchasing function and play on whichever PlayStation system you want.
